Why La La Land has sad ending? At the end of the film, Sebastian is able to own his own jazz club, while Mia lands a starring role in a Paris-filmed project that jump starts her acting career. While making their dreams come true, both Mia and Sebastian go their separate ways and never rekindle the romance they shared. The music of La La Land is where the film finds its heart, and for all that it's in the style of Hollywood's heyday of musicals in the '50s, La La Land doesn't feel dated thanks to composer Justin But the bigger gripe I have with it is the tone it ends the movie on. In my personal opinion, La La Land is ultimately a happy story. Obviously there are ups and downs, but in the long run Mia and Seb's relationship together was sweet and meaningful, even if it didn't last.
And of course you have Laura Linneyโs brother who is only ever really presented as a burden and an obstacle to her happiness. The only positive familial relationship in the movie is Liam Neeson and his son. Hell, the happiest guy in the movie is Wisconsin bro and he never even mentions his family - at Christmas!
Sha la la la la la, my oh my Look like the boy too shy Ain't gonna kiss the girl. Sha la la la la la, ain't that sad Ain't it a shame, too bad He gonna miss the girl. Now's your moment Floating in a blue lagoon Boy, you'd better do it soon No time will be better. She don't say a word And she won't say a word Until you kiss the girl
Mia wants to be an actress, and Seb wants to open his own jazz club. Seb is a bit of an eccentric and purist, making him a bit of a stubborn asshole to others. They fall in love, and their careers take interesting turns - Mia focuses on writing and acting in a solo play to get the attention of Hollywood casting folk, Seb takes up an offer from
Thanks for sharing your story. I'm glad you are grown as a person. La La Land is just a perfect metaphor for life and everything about it is just right. I also have parallels between the movie and my life. Indeed, the life you have now is alright, though not the one you dreamt about. We are what we are right now.
