Ionly have about 800 miles on my SXV, but using the correct weight oil seems to have sorted out the issue. It gets hot and humid in Florida so the extra weight oil is not only recommended, but puts my mind at ease. On a side note, during the first 300 miles I seemed to need to add oil after every ride. My oil level seems to be holding steady now.
